Our Story

Rain is a Good Thing

Too many people miss out on the joy of rainy days because they think they need to stay inside. Vessi exists to help you walk through any weather with the same positivity you feel on a perfectly sunny day.

Born in the Wet Canadian Pacific

The rainy Pacific Northwest is a place where you have to find a way to enjoy being out in the rain, or you’ll be spending most days indoors. In 2018, three Vancouverites finally cracked the code on waterproof footwear that looked, felt and performed like the sneakers we all love to wear everyday. The rest, as they say, is history.

Our Four Design Pillars

Our footwear and apparel are designed with all the technical details needed to keep you dry and comfortable no matter what the conditions. The way we consistently do this for all of our products is by staying true to our four pillars. Everything we create must be waterproof, lightweight, durable and comfortable. Not until a new prototype becomes all of those things, can it earn the Vessi logo.

From ensuring every product is PFAS-Free and vegan right down to the glue, to only partnering with those who respect the people doing the work, we will always do our best to step lightly and build up those around us.

How to Measure

Step 1: Step on a piece of paper with you heel slightly touching a wall behind

Step 2: Mark the end of your longest toe on the paper and measure from the wall to the marking.

Step 3: Do the same for the other foot and compare measurements with our size chart to get the right size.
